Overall good chair

Wanted smaller chair with arms the fold away (had a leather mid-high back chair at first). I am 6ft tall with fairly long arms and this chair works much better than expected. Hight was good and padding in chair feels good for 8 hour work shift (so far). Be aware that arms a plastic and don't have cushion. So far that has not been as big of an issue as I initially thought. Takes a little force to fold the arms (this is a good thing). Tip, you have to pull the handle on the bottom out to allow it to lean back. Push it in to lock chair upright (like most chairs, I don't know why others identify this as an issue). The construction is pretty solid. I only reduced it a star due to the plastic smell. You may want to air it out before you put it in your bedroom. After a couple days the smell goes away. I need to give them credit for assembly packaging. The instructions are too small (old eyes) but, the screws are numbered in the order that you need to use them, the pictures are clear enough, and it came with the best tool I have ever received to assemble an office chair (had to put together 16 $300 office chairs at work). They got the star back for that.

READ THIS REVIEW IF CONSIDERING BUYING THIS PRODUCT!

This chair is great in all aspects. It very fast to build, it does have a manual and tools to build it. The chair can recline, the color is pretty, the cushioning is good, also adjusting the height is good for table that can be higher.

PS: In order to recline the chair, the lever that is for the height change needs to be pull out in order to recline but if u don’t want to recline then push in the lever to lock it.

Very well-made chair.

I’ve cheaped out on a chair before and regretted it, this one was not crazy expensive but more than the cheap ones and I have not regretted it. It’s comfortable, was easy to assemble, and while it does have a slight squeak to it when moving around it’s not unbearable. The seat itself is comfortable and has not waned in the 2+ months I’ve had it.

You better get you one!

My husband loves it! Super comfortable, durable, and affordable. He works from home and the other chair caused him back pain but this chair helps with his back. Easy to install.

Decent chair with some key things to understand before buying

Decent enough chair, arrived SUPER early. Fairly self-explanatory as far as putting it together. The only slight issue I had with installation was aligning the bottom seat to the holes in the arms as it was a little challenging putting it together alone. Otherwise, overall, it was easy. I think I did it in about 20 minutes or less. No stripped screws and it came with a few extra screws JIC. All the screws/holes aligned correctly for me. Chair is fairly light after putting it together so it's easy for me to pick up. I'm still not sure how I would use the little pocket area behind the chair but okay.

The bottom seat appeared thicker than I remember when I ordered it which is good because I was expecting it to be very uncomfortable. THE ISSUE I have with the chair is that you feel as though you're leaning forward, almost like you're gonna slip out so it's not comfortable in that sense. What I had to do was get a bottom seat cushion (it's generic) and have it positioned more towards the edge of the front of the seat so the top of your butt kind of sits on the original seat and the rest of you is positioned on the cushion so you can change the angle of your seat. Again, apparently this is a design flaw(?) but it's been the only way to make it feel as though I'm not going to slide forward. Also, IMO, the chair seat needs to be a couple of inches longer. I'm only 5'6" but I feel like about 2 inches under the back of my legs (where it bends behind the knee) is not supported. Maybe I'm just use to a longer/bigger seat. Who knows. Again, my cushion helps but another design flaw IMO. I weigh about 145, size 8 in women so you can get a feel for my size and the seat seems a tad big short for me, as in the seat cushion. I'm not complaining but a larger person or someone with longer legs may or may find this restricting. Also, with my height, my head fits perfectly on the headrest. For someone much taller or someone with a longer torso, will you even be able to use the headrest or will your head go past it?

I like the flip up arms and they seem to work well. I like sitting very close to the desk so a lot of times, arm chairs get in the way of doing that. This chair allows you the flexibility of being close to the desk without the arms getting in the way. Also, the lumbar support is pretty decent. I like the headrest and found that it actually comes in handy WHEN I pull it up in a higher position. I'm curious to see how well it stays in position over time as it goes back down fairly easy with a little push from the back of your head.
The chair goes up and down fine and also I love the rocking feature. I work from home and like to rock from time to time. The handle worked fine for me, switching back from rocking to locking position. I think I read someone say that the chair rolled too easily. I didn't have this problem. I am working on a hardwood floor and it doesn't roll easily IMO (as in there's no issues. It rolls when I want it to roll but stays put when I'm working).

Fairly nice looking chair for a decent price. There are some other competitors and sure, they look nice for the same price or even cheaper BUT the arms are movable on this one which is a big plus for me. All in all, a good quality buy. But I will be getting a nicer, additional seat cushion soon to make this chair even better. I'll update with a pic soon so people don't assume this review is for the chairs that don't have the headrest.
